Contract Signed for Delivery Service with Samgyeopsal Specialty Restaurant 'Hanam Dwaeji Jip'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Barogo, a startup operating a last-mile logistics IT platform (CEO Lee Taekwon), announced on the 21st that it has signed a delivery agency contract with the pork belly specialty restaurant 'Hanam Dwaeji Jip.'
Barogo will provide stable delivery services to Hanam Dwaeji Jip, which is expanding its delivery services. Recently, Hanam Dwaeji Jip has been accelerating its delivery services by opening complex stores with separate 'delivery zones.'
Barogo currently provides delivery services to more than 20 Hanam Dwaeji Jip stores in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas, and plans to expand delivery availability nationwide in the future. The available delivery menu includes Korean pork belly, ogyeopsal (five-layer pork belly), pork jowl, assorted platter, kodari hoe naengmyeon (cold noodles with semi-dried pollack), kimchi fried rice, and more. Orders can be placed through Baedal Minjok.
A Barogo official said, "With the activation of contactless consumption, the era has come where grilled dishes such as pork belly and steak, which were strongly perceived as dine-in only menus, are now being delivered," adding, "We will prepare various support measures for brands that introduce or expand delivery services according to consumer demand."
