On the afternoon of the 20th, Kwak Si-yang appeared as a special MC on SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling' (hereafter 'My Ugly Duckling').
On that day, Shin Dong-yup asked Kwak Si-yang, "Among the cast of 'Alice,' who takes the best care of others?" and Kwak Si-yang pointed to Kim Hee-sun. Kwak Si-yang explained about Kim Hee-sun, "I thought she would be cold, but she is really kind. She takes good care of juniors and even gave me a birthday present."
Shin Dong-yup, who has appeared several times with Kim Hee-sun on broadcasts, said, "Kim Hee-sun is a witty person. She has a lot of money and spends it well," making a joke that brought laughter. Kwak Si-yang nodded and said about Kim Hee-sun, "She is someone who spends money stylishly."
Furthermore, when asked if he had ever had a strange dream, Kwak Si-yang said, "This is a dream that was amazing to me and also amazing to my mother."
He recalled, "One day, I was tired and sleeping, and a child about 5 years old appeared in my dream and said, 'Hyung, come here.' That day, I said, 'I'm too tired, I don't want to go.'
Then, the next day, the child appeared again in my dream and said, 'Hyung, come here.' Feeling strange, I called my mother and said, 'Mom, a little kid keeps appearing in my dreams telling me to follow him,' and my mother said lightly, 'Maybe something good is going to happen,' and hung up."
However, Kwak Si-yang revealed that the child appeared in his dreams for three consecutive days. He said, "The kid said again, 'Hyung, come here,' so that day I followed him. The moment I opened the door and went out, the lights suddenly turned on and I woke up. At that time, I got a call from my manager saying I had passed the audition for the project I was watching. That kind of thing happened," surprising everyone.
When asked about his family relationships, Kwak Si-yang said, "I have four older sisters. I grew up getting hit a lot. The oldest sister is 13 years older than me, but even when I was young, she didn't carry me on her back or anything. Ugh," he lamented, causing laughter.
When asked, "You must have run a lot of errands," Kwak Si-yang said, "It was tremendous. When my mom told someone, 'Go buy bean sprouts and tofu,' I ended up going. But the money never came back. It was missing 200 won here and there."
He also revealed, "If the second sister was in a bad mood, she would say something to the third sister, and the third sister would say something to the fourth sister. Then the fourth sister would take it out on me. I had nowhere to vent," making those around him burst into laughter.
When asked, "Since you have many older sisters, did you ever worry about your sisters-in-law when you get married?" Kwak Si-yang said, "I don't worry much about that part. I think (my sisters) will take good care of me."
However, Seo Jang-hoon added, "It wouldn't be easy with four sisters. Even one of them would have a different personality," and Shin Dong-yup said, "Why is that? Do you want others to live alone forever?" making the studio burst into laughter.
