Overseas Arrivals Confirmed Positive for COVID-19 in Gwangju

Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 20th that a man in his 30s, Mr. A, who arrived from overseas, tested positive for COVID-19.

Following the overseas arrivals protocol, Mr. A was quarantined at the Gwangju Fire Service Academy immediately upon arrival and tested positive during the facility quarantine, with no additional contacts or movement paths.

This is the first confirmed case in Gwangju in four days since the 16th, and local transmission remains at zero.
