Gwangju Urban Railway Corporation Selected as Best Institution for Human Resource Development in the Public Sector

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation (President Yoon Jin-bo) announced on the 20th that it has been selected as the '2020 Best Public Sector Human Resource Development Institution' and will receive a commendation from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education.

The Public Sector Human Resource Development Excellence Certification System (hereinafter Best-HRD) is a system in which the government grants certification to public institutions with excellent human resource development and management.

The corporation was honored to be selected as the best institution among public institutions certified with the public sector Best-HRD.

Last year, the corporation upgraded the Talent Development Team to the Talent Development Institute and has been providing full support for education to nurture future talents.

It also received high evaluations for its efforts in human resource development, such as preventing recruitment corruption and ensuring fairness in hiring through the integrated recruitment of public institutions in Gwangju Metropolitan City, introducing certification for excellent workplaces in reading management, and being designated as a training institution for railway vehicle maintenance.
