Andong-si, Sisterhood, Friendship, and Exchange Cities Photo Exhibition ... 9 Cities from 4 Countries Participate

From the 21st to 25th at City Hall Ungbugwan

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Andong City, Gyeongbuk Province, announced on the 20th that it will hold the 'Overseas Sister, Friendship, and Exchange Cities Photo Exhibition' on the first floor of the Ungbu Hall at City Hall for five days from the 21st to the 25th.

This photo exhibition will showcase a total of 34 promotional photos submitted from nine cities in four countries, including Pingdingshan, Jinan, and Xi'an in China; Sagae, Kamakura, Takayama, and Shirakawa Village in Japan; Holon in Israel; and Cusco in Peru, all of which are overseas sister, friendship, and exchange cities.

The mayoral delegations from each participating city congratulated the photo exhibition and conveyed messages of gratitude to Andong City for its efforts to promote these cities. In this regard, Andong City plans to include Andong’s UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Hahoe Village, in the photo exhibition promotional booklet and send it to each city.

An official from Andong City stated, "In these times when face-to-face exchanges are difficult due to COVID-19, we plan to continue friendly exchanges with overseas cities through various non-face-to-face exchange programs such as delivering video messages of support for overcoming COVID-19 and holding working meetings via video conference."

Meanwhile, Andong City is promoting sisterhood, friendship cooperation, and exchanges with 10 cities in 5 overseas countries.
