[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Public Procurement Service announced on the 20th that it will conduct bids for 54 construction projects worth approximately 124.8 billion KRW over five days starting from the 21st.
The bids include 50 projects (93% of the total), such as the 'Gijang Middle School Teacher Reconstruction Project' requested by the Busan Haeundae Office of Education, which will be executed as region-restricted bids or region-mandatory joint contracts.
Through this, the Public Procurement Service expects that local companies will win contracts worth about 72.2 billion KRW (58% of the total) based on construction payments. Among these, region-restricted bids involving only local companies are expected to account for 33 projects worth approximately 35.8 billion KRW.
The order volume by region is largest in Gangwon Province with 38.2 billion KRW, followed by Busan with 22.5 billion KRW, and Jeonbuk with 22.3 billion KRW. Additionally, a total of 41.8 billion KRW will be ordered in other regions.
All the planned bids are under 30 billion KRW and will be executed through comprehensive evaluation (simplified type, 10.6 billion KRW), qualification evaluation (113.8 billion KRW), and negotiated contracts (0.4 billion KRW), respectively.
