‘Nongga Donghaeng Autumn’ Event to Support Struggling Farms
Large Purchase of About 7.9 Tons of Seasonal Produce for ‘Good Consumption’
Diverse Promotions and New Premium Brand Opening
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Galleria Department Store will hold its autumn regular sale from September 25 to October 11. During this period, about 70 brands at all Galleria locations will offer discounts of up to 50%.
Season 2 of the ‘Farmers’ Partnership’ Event Using Seasonal Autumn Agricultural Products
First, following the summer sale, Galleria will continue the ‘Farmers’ Partnership Autumn’ event using local agricultural products. The ‘Farmers’ Partnership’ event is a ‘good consumption’ campaign that purchases large quantities of products from farms struggling with poor sales due to the COVID-19 pandemic, securing sales channels and offering these products to customers at affordable prices.
Thanks to the positive response to the Farmers’ Partnership summer event held in July, various agricultural products will be sold at all Galleria locations during the sale period at prices lower than usual.
In particular, customers who receive special discount coupons available on a first-come, first-served basis through the Galleria application (app) can purchase representative seasonal agricultural products at even more discounted prices. This autumn sale involves purchasing about 7.9 tons of seasonal agricultural products, an increase of 3.9 tons compared to last summer’s event. These quantities will be available at more affordable prices in two rounds on September 25 and October 9.
Premium Brands such as ‘Saint Laurent’ and ‘Dior’ Open
During the sale period, Galleria will present various events that customers can participate in directly, as well as introduce new luxury brands.
Under the theme ‘How to Use the Galleria App,’ customers who complete all seven missions, including setting up electronic receipts and enabling push notifications, will be entered into a draw to win G-Cash prizes.
Additionally, from October 9, the last weekend of the sale, for 11 days, as part of the ‘Light! Galleria’ social contribution campaign practicing values in three areas?environmental protection, respect for life, and safety culture?customers who make purchases will receive reusable shopping bags as a promotion.
Meanwhile, at the luxury hall located in Apgujeong-dong, a pop-up exhibition of the Italian luxury house brand ‘Valentino’s’ ‘V-signature’ will be held from September 18 to October 5 at the East 1st floor luxury pop-up zone.
At Galleria Gwanggyo, French luxury brand Saint Laurent and high-end luxury brand Dior will open new stores on September 18 and September 23, respectively. Also, from September 18 to October 18, a pop-up store of the French luxury brand ‘Goyard’ will be held.
