Gyeonggi-do to Host Online Live Broadcast on the 21st for 'Promoting Adoption of Abandoned Animals'

[Asia Economy (Uijeongbu) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is preparing an online live broadcast to promote the adoption of abandoned animals.

Gyeonggi Province announced on the 19th that it will hold the YouTube live broadcast for promoting abandoned animal adoption, "The Day Two Become One (21day)," starting at 8 p.m. on the 21st.

"The Day Two Become One (21day)" is a YouTube live broadcast hosted by Gyeonggi Province to promote abandoned animal adoption, inviting experts and celebrities. It has been broadcast monthly on the 21st since last May.

This month's event will feature Chaehyun Seol, an animal behavior expert and practicing veterinarian.

Seol will deliver various information in an easy and entertaining way, including solutions to difficulties that may arise while adopting and living with abandoned animals.

In particular, this live broadcast will include a Q&A segment about "pet walking," which is of greatest interest to dog owners.

Additionally, an event will be held to donate pet food to animal protection centers depending on the number of live broadcast participants.

Other interesting content such as public adoption of abandoned dogs and introductions to abandoned animal adoption centers will also be provided through the broadcast.

A provincial official stated, "Gyeonggi Province plans to operate an online homepage called 'Making Happy Families with Abandoned Animals, Yuhyengga,' where various contents including YouTube live broadcasts can be enjoyed to revitalize the culture of abandoned animal adoption this year."
