Dongseo University LINC+ Project Group, 8 Pass in Employment-Linked 'Hiring-Type AllSUN Industry-Academia Track' Course
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) has developed and commercialized a real-time multi-video lecture platform based on online connections as part of its future-oriented education system construction project.
This platform is integrated into the on-campus system (IFS, In-school Field System) to implement remote video education.
On the 18th, Dongseo University announced that the LINC+ project group’s ‘Employment-type AllSUN Industry-Academia Track,’ which applies this future education system, is achieving results in both educational innovation and employment.
The AllSUN (All Support for UNiversity) Industry-Academia Track is a convergence program composed of major deepening modules and extracurricular activities for problem-solving, designed to cultivate talent demanded by industries based on industrial needs.
In March, Dongseo University LINC+ project group signed a mutual business agreement with Hyundai Construction Technology Institute to jointly operate the ‘Construction Specialist Training Track.’
This track conducts problem-solving education with domestic and international sites through the IFS video system and promotes employment not only with participating companies but also with major domestic corporations and public enterprises.
As a result of the program operation in the first half of this year, eight graduates (Kang So-min and seven others) received final acceptance notifications for employment-linked courses at Hyundai Group affiliates.
Additionally, five employees were placed in Hyundai Construction, Lotte Construction, and Korea Facilities Safety Corporation, demonstrating the achievements of the ‘Employment-type AllSUN Industry-Academia Track.’
Jo Dae-su, head of the LINC+ project group, said, “Based on this achievement, we will promote practical remote video education using the on-campus IFS space and develop it into a future-oriented education system to prepare for the post-COVID era.”
