[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] The Urban Development Project Office of Changwon City, Gyeongnam, held a 2021 major business plan briefing session on the 18th at the Jinhae District Office conference room.


The event was held under the chairmanship of Jeong Hye-ran, the 2nd Vice Mayor, with the Urban Development Project Office Director, department heads, and responsible officers attending, ahead of the final briefing scheduled for next month.


The Urban Development Project Office set next year's strategic goal as "Eco-friendly urban space + people-centered balanced urban development." The implementation strategic tasks selected include ▲ attracting future strategic industries and creating hub-type specialized industrial complexes ▲ developing new towns where people and nature coexist ▲ developing premium cities through regional balanced development.


In particular, next year's major policy projects include the Green New Deal industrial complex clean factory construction project, Banwol district disaster prevention drainage construction and securing industrial sites, Jinbuk general industrial complex road environment improvement project, and the long-term development plan for creating Changwon's future-type new town.


Jeong Hye-ran, the 2nd Vice Mayor, stated, "We will do our best to ensure that various ongoing urban development projects proceed without delay within the deadline to create a business-friendly environment, and to take appropriate measures for various civil complaints and systematically promote urban development projects."
