[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Park Dae-chul, a member of the People Power Party, called on actress Yoon Ji-oh, who is currently on Interpol's red notice list over allegations of donation fraud, to "come to the National Assembly."

On the 18th, Park posted on his Facebook, saying, "The People Power Party will not refuse. Appear as a witness at the National Assembly audit and reveal all the truth," urging her to come forward.

He added, "Our country has become one where public authority is mocked by an internationally wanted person. Yoon Ji-oh, who left for Canada amid controversy over embezzling donations worth hundreds of millions, is now abroad," and criticized, "The Ministry of Justice says her whereabouts are unknown, but Yoon even posted videos of her birthday party, mocking the situation. She is reportedly under protection by the Canadian police."

He continued, "'The Yoon Ji-oh incident' is a 'power-type incident.' The regime is the one that nurtured her exceptional audacity. Democratic Party lawmaker Ahn Min-seok led a 'lawmakers' meeting with Yoon Ji-oh.' The police spent 9 million won on hotel expenses, treating her like a VIP," and claimed, "Isn't this a 'power-media collusion' carried out through a tripartite connection of the party, government, and media? It is a new model of power-type corruption."

Park said, "I will request Yoon to appear as a witness at the Science, Technology, Information and Broadcasting Committee's audit next month. This adds another case for special investigation and national audit."

Earlier, on the 8th, Yoon posted a video of her birthday party on her social network service (SNS), sparking controversy. Currently, Yoon Ji-oh is on Interpol's red notice list over allegations of donation fraud while serving as a witness in the sexual bribery case involving the late actress Jang Ja-yeon.
