Pyojun Association Launches Comprehensive Service Quality Evaluation Standard 'SQ-STAR Certification'

Customer Evaluations Included in the System... 'K-Service' Evaluation Model

Pyojun Association Launches Comprehensive Service Quality Evaluation Standard 'SQ-STAR Certification'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Standards Association (President Lee Sang-jin) announced on the 17th that it has launched a new service quality evaluation model called 'SQ-STAR Certification,' suitable for the digital and contactless (untact) era.

The SQ-STAR Certification integrates digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and big data into existing management systems, allowing companies that provide high-quality service to receive favorable evaluations. The Standards Association plans to continuously discover and promote certified companies to expand consumer choice and establish a 'K-Service' evaluation model that can be recognized on the global stage.

The SQ-STAR Certification combines the key characteristics of the Korea Service Awards and KS-SQI (Korea Service Quality Index), which have been verified in the market over the past 20 years, reflecting a balanced consideration of both company and customer aspects. In addition to the service system, it is designed to evaluate whether sustainable services can be provided by also examining customer responses.

Applicant companies can identify the strengths and weaknesses of their service management level, processes, and corporate culture through diagnosis by external experts. Certified companies will receive certificates and plaques at the Korea Service Awards and KS-SQI ceremonies.
