Application of New Whirlpool Burner
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Kiturami announced on the 17th that it will introduce two types of Ministry of Environment-certified oil boilers that consumers living in urban gas non-supplied areas within air management zones can use.
The new products are the 'Sten Highfin Eco' and 'Turbo Highfin Eco' oil boilers. According to the company, they meet all Ministry of Environment certification standards for residential oil boilers, including thermal efficiency of over 84%, nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions below 80ppm, and carbon monoxide (CO) emissions below 150ppm.
The most notable feature is the application of a new swirl burner with flame recirculation technology that further enhances combustion performance. This new burner precisely controls airflow, reducing nitrogen oxide emissions during combustion by 55% compared to previous models, and decreases noise and soot generated when burning heating oil, creating a quieter and more comfortable usage environment.
In particular, Kiturami applied its unique aluminum highfin special heat exchanger that maximizes heat transfer even in a small area. Kiturami explained that by increasing thermal efficiency to over 84%, it reduced the product's volume and weight, thereby alleviating users' heating cost burdens and solving installation space shortage issues that may arise when replacing existing boilers.
The new oil boiler products are equipped with a high-grade stainless steel hot water heat exchanger with excellent corrosion resistance, allowing for long-term abundant use of clean hot water. They include an automatic water refill valve, expansion tank, and circulation pump. The piping installation is simple and maintenance is easy.
A Kiturami official stated, "In line with the enforcement of the Air Management Zone Act, which mandates the installation of eco-friendly boilers, we developed products that meet Ministry of Environment certification standards not only for gas boilers but also for oil boilers," adding, "We plan to strengthen product promotion so that environmentally friendly oil boilers can be used even in urban gas non-supplied areas."
