Considering the increase in demand for gift sets with enhanced value as more customers are unable to visit their hometowns during the holiday due to the spread of COVID-19, Lotte Mart has increased the quantity of premium gift sets priced over 100,000 KRW by about 25% compared to last year.
As a representative premium product, the highest grade Korean beef ‘1++(9) [Toopul Number Nine]’, first introduced in March, is prepared as a gift set and offered in a limited quantity of 50 sets at 590,000 KRW. Additionally, the ‘Jirisan 1++ No.9 Set 1’ is sold at 390,000 KRW. This product includes a leaflet describing the brand story and certification of Jirisan pure Korean beef, enhancing the value of the gift set and allowing recipients to enjoy it with confidence.
Furthermore, following the increase of the gift limit for agricultural, livestock, and marine products from 100,000 KRW to 200,000 KRW by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on the 8th, Lotte Mart has increased the quantity of gift sets in this price range by about 20%.
Representative products include ‘Golden Sweet Naju House Pears and Chungju Apples’ priced at 198,000 KRW, and the ‘Korean Beef One-Meal Grilling Set’, prepared for easy consumption of desired cuts, sold to L.Point members at 199,000 KRW.
In addition, Lotte Mart has prepared unique collaboration gift sets to satisfy diverse customer demands. For example, ‘Gyeongsan Kyoho Grapes and Shine Muscat’ are sold to L.Point members at 79,840 KRW, a 20% discount compared to non-members, and the ‘Black Shiitake and Nut Mixed Set’ is sold to L.Point members at 63,580 KRW, about 15% off the non-member price.
