[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Park Yoo-chun, who had announced his retirement from the entertainment industry due to drug use allegations, has revealed concert dates following the release of his album. He explained that he will hold an offline concert in Thailand amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the 16th, Park Yoo-chun's official Instagram posted a message saying, "Hello, we would like to inform you about Park Yoo-chun's upcoming activities in Thailand," adding, "Please look forward to and support him, and you can check the details through the link below," along with a photo. The released photo contained Park Yoo-chun's schedule for his activities in Thailand.

According to the schedule, Park Yoo-chun plans to accept pre-orders for his album within this month and release an official album and a new single in the Thai version in October.

Additionally, on November 27, he will hold a fan signing event in Thailand, and the next day, on the 28th, he plans to hold both online and offline concerts at Union Mall as his comeback mini-concert.

Earlier, Park Yoo-chun held a press conference immediately after drug allegations first surfaced last year, asserting his innocence and pledging to retire from the entertainment industry.

However, forensic test results confirmed positive for drugs, and he was arrested and prosecuted on charges of methamphetamine use and purchase.

Subsequently, in July of last year, Park Yoo-chun was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year probation in the first trial and was released. Upon leaving the detention center, he told reporters, "I sincerely apologize once again for causing concern to many people," and also said, "I am truly sorry to my fans. I will live honestly."

However, after his release, Park Yoo-chun expressed his intention to resume activities in the entertainment industry. Six months after his release, he held a paid fan meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, last January, showing signs of resuming activities. Since then, he has continued with the launch of an official website, recruitment of a paid fan club, publication of a photo book, and online fan meetings, drawing strong criticism from netizens for 'reversing his retirement.'
