[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] One confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has been reported at Seoul National University.
Seoul National University announced on the 16th that a member of the university, Mr. A, tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Seoul National University, Mr. A showed suspected symptoms of COVID-19 on the previous day (the 15th) and visited a public health center for a diagnostic test. Mr. A was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on the same day.
It was investigated that Mr. A visited the Business School Library, Law School Cafe, and College of Human Ecology on campus on the 14th.
Seoul National University plans to investigate Mr. A's detailed movements and will restrict access to the buildings he visited while conducting disinfection measures.
