KOSPI, KOSDAQ, and KONEX Market Stock Trading Commission Rate Reduced by 0.0039219%
[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Bo-ryeong] Hanwha Investment & Securities has lowered the trading commission rates for all accounts until the end of the year.
Hanwha Investment & Securities announced on the 16th that it will reduce trading commissions until the end of the year in accordance with the temporary exemption of transaction fees by the Korea Exchange and the Korea Securities Depository, as well as brokerage fees by securities companies.
The stock trading commission rates for the KOSPI, KOSDAQ, and KONEX markets were reduced by 0.0039219%, and the K-OTC commission was lowered by 0.00742%. However, accounts subject to negotiated fees are excluded.
Kim Min-su, Executive Director of Channel Strategy at Hanwha Investment & Securities, said, "We have lowered the trading commissions starting today in response to the temporary fee exemption measures by the Exchange and the Depository. We will continue to do our best to ensure that more investors can benefit."
The fee exemption by the Exchange and the Depository was implemented considering the difficult economic conditions caused by the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). It was decided to establish a foundation for the sustainable growth of the capital market by reducing transaction costs.
