Customers who wish to subscribe to automobile insurance or travel insurance can check insurance premiums and make payments in real time by entering only the required information on KakaoTalk, and automobile insurance renewal can be processed with a simple chat.
Additionally, without visiting a branch, sending a fax, or installing an application, customers can complete simple authentication and document registration procedures within the KakaoTalk chat window to handle their own insurance claims (under 1 million KRW) and loan services 24 hours a day in a one-stop manner.
Jung Kyu-wan, Head of Digital Strategy Division at Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, said, "Through KakaoTalk, any customer can easily use various services of the insurance company without a separate certificate," adding, "We will continue to expand the scope of services for digitally marginalized groups who are not familiar with mobile financial transactions and for financial consumers such as office workers who have time constraints."
