According to the Korea Exchange, as of 9:15 a.m., the KOSPI was at 2440.54, down 3.04 points (0.12%) from the previous trading day. The KOSPI opened at 2442.72, down 0.86 points (0.04%) from the previous day, and has been fluctuating within a flat range.
In the KOSPI market, individuals and foreigners net bought 132.3 billion KRW and 7.2 billion KRW respectively. Meanwhile, institutions net sold 139.5 billion KRW.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics (-0.33%), SK Hynix (-1.71%), and LG Chem (-0.28%) declined. On the other hand, Samsung Biologics (0.52%) and Celltrion (1.52%) rose.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index stood at 901.40, up 1.94 points (0.22%) from the previous trading day. The index opened at 901.75, up 2.29 points (0.25%), surpassing the 900 mark.
Individuals led the index with net purchases of 76.3 billion KRW. Foreigners and institutions net sold 24.6 billion KRW and 44.8 billion KRW respectively.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Celltrion Healthcare (1.20%) and Seegene (2.21%) rose, while HL Biopharma (-0.18%) and Genexine (-0.57%) declined.
