Jeonnam Central Child Protection and Western Elderly Protection Specialized Agencies Hold Business Agreement Ceremony


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency (Director Yoo Kiyong) announced on the 15th that it has signed a business agreement with the Jeollanam-do Western Elderly Protection Agency (Director Kang Heesook) to establish a protection system for abuse-affected families in the region.


On this day, six officials from the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency and the Jeollanam-do Western Elderly Protection Agency attended.


Through this agreement ceremony, the two agencies promised to monitor the safety of abuse-affected children and elderly families in Naju City and Hampyeong County and to actively intervene in the early detection of abuse cases.


They also discussed the possibility of joint case management to ensure the safety of abuse-affected families and the restoration of family functions, agreeing to carry out their duties through close discussions and cooperation in the future.


Yoo Kiyong, Director of the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency, said, “Through this agreement ceremony, we will establish a practical protection network within the local community based on a cooperative system for abuse-affected families in the region.”


Kang Heesook, Director of the Jeollanam-do Western Elderly Protection Agency, stated, “I hope this agreement ceremony will serve as a foundation for agencies conducting abuse prevention projects to work together and realize the protection of the rights and interests of children and the elderly.”
