FnGuide Provides 'ESG Rating' Data for Global Listed Companies

The ESG data to be provided this time will be sourced from Refinitiv, a strategic partner, and will be offered to customers through its global investment information solutions.

Recently, corporate ESG ratings have rapidly expanded as a complement to traditional financial value evaluation methods, and the demand for credible information is also explosively increasing. FnGuide plans to provide ESG rating information through its investment analysis program Quantwise and global listed company analysis service Company Global, making it easy for both institutions and individual investors to access. Specifically, it will provide ESG evaluation ratings for more than 5,000 global stocks (including Korea) from the U.S., Japan, China, Hong Kong, etc., over the past five years, and detailed scoring can be compared with peers in the same industry and country.

FnGuide has proactively recognized the importance of ESG data and is promoting not only data services but also index and certification businesses. Earlier this year, it announced Korea’s first ‘ESG Bond Index,’ and recently launched the ‘ESG Certification Center,’ composed of experts, to promote ESG bond certification projects.
