"Democratic Party Should Also Stop Operating The Daily Beast"
Trump Previously Suggested Possible Election Rejection
[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] Roger Stone, the 'master of political manipulation' pardoned by U.S. President Donald Trump, proposed a scenario for refusing to accept the election results to President Trump and insisted on arresting journalists from media outlets and shutting down their operations if necessary.
On the 13th (local time), according to Business Insider, Stone recently urged President Trump in an interview with Alex Jones, operator of the far-right conspiracy theory site 'InfoWars,' to "consider declaring martial law or invoke the Insurrection Act if he loses the election."
Based on the unfounded premise that "the Democratic Party will rig the election," he raised his voice saying that "anyone else proven to be involved in illegal activities" must be arrested.
Those Stone mentioned as targets for arrest included Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook; Tim Cook, CEO of Apple; former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the couple.
He also argued for forming a special task force using the FBI and others to prepare for the election, not only to file legal objections to the election results but also, if necessary, to "physically confront criminal acts."
Specifically, he mentioned the state of Nevada. He claimed, "On election night, federal court marshals should seize the votes in Nevada and take them out of the state." Nevada has not been won by the Republican Party even once since 2004. Shortly after Stone's remarks, President Trump visited Nevada.
Stone also emphasized that if the internet media The Daily Beast engages in inflammatory actions regarding the election, its staff should be arrested and the editorial office's operations should be blocked. Stone claimed that this media outlet is a major Democratic website.
Earlier, President Trump also hinted at the possibility of refusing to accept the election results. In an interview with Fox News last July, President Trump said, "I'm not a good loser. I hate losing."
Stone, who was sentenced to 40 months in prison on charges related to the 'Russia scandal,' was effectively pardoned by President Trump's commutation in July and pledged loyalty, vowing to do anything for Trump's re-election. He also dealt a significant blow in the 2016 election by raising conspiracy theories against Hillary Clinton.
