[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jeong] Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 10 'Haishen,' 2 people have died and 4 are missing in Japan.


Naoki Okada, Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary, stated this during a press conference on the afternoon of the 8th regarding the typhoon damage situation. He added that there are 11 seriously injured and 81 lightly injured due to the typhoon. He also mentioned that there are 2 other deaths under investigation for possible connection to the typhoon.


As a result of Typhoon Haishen, a large-scale power outage occurred mainly in the Kyushu region, and about 80,000 households are still without electricity.
