[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Fashion tech company Brandi (CEO Seo Jeong-min) announced on the 7th that it will transition to 'Organization 2.0' starting in September, beginning with the large-scale recruitment of executive-level talent. Brandi has recruited a total of 26 leader-level personnel over approximately three months from July to early September. They hired expert leaders from e-commerce companies such as Coupang, Kurly, eBay, Tmon, and Wemakeprice, as well as talent from Kakao, NHN, and Yanolja, establishing an organization centered on 'Product Owners (POs)'. Product Owners are responsible for the entire process from planning, designing, developing, to launching products or services.
Inokwon, head of Brandi's People Team, stated, "As we expect to achieve our goal of hiring 100 developers by October, declared in the first half of the year, we plan to focus on recruiting skilled marketing talent as the next step." Accordingly, they are preparing the 'Brandi Honorary Recruiter' system, which allows anyone working in the IT and startup industries to recommend talent to Brandi and receive a recruitment reward of 1 million KRW.
Seo Jeong-min, CEO of Brandi, said, "Starting with this Organization 2.0 declaration, Brandi will actively delegate decision-making authority to POs, reorganizing into a matrix-type organization where they can lead their respective services independently." He added, "Ultimately, the goal is to lead the cultivation of domestic entrepreneurs and become a company that grows together."
