[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jeong-ho] Former baseball player Park Chan-ho and mixed martial artist Choo Sung-hoon have drawn attention with their tense rivalry.

On the afternoon of the 5th, SBS aired 'Law of the Jungle in Wild Korea' (hereafter 'Law of the Jungle'), featuring the Byeongman tribe engaging in a simulated disaster survival challenge.

In this episode, the Byeongman tribe prepared their first meal in Wild Korea. To boil the previously caught crabs and sea snails, fire was essential. Park Chan-ho immediately stepped up.

Park Chan-ho said, "Actually, I have DNA that allows me to survive even in places like this. My father was called MacGyver by his brothers, and I inherited that DNA from him," as he began trying to start a fire with a fire steel.

However, the fire did not ignite for over an hour, and the Byeongman tribe grew increasingly exhausted. Watching this, Choo Sung-hoon appeared holding a signal flare, saying, "Come on, everyone, use your heads a bit. Here, this," to which Park Chan-ho replied, "I didn’t use that because I was worried the rescue team might come if we lit it."

Nevertheless, the Byeongman tribe agreed with Choo Sung-hoon’s suggestion, and they easily made fire using the signal flare.

Afterward, the rivalry between Park Chan-ho and Choo Sung-hoon continued. While the tribe was looking for a stand to boil the parrot sea snail soup, Park Chan-ho brought a plastic pole from somewhere.

Choo Sung-hoon suggested, "I think bamboo would be better," but Park Chan-ho did not give in. Choo Sung-hoon shook his head and said, "Athletes don’t listen. There’s nothing we can do."

Later, Choo Sung-hoon gently persuaded Park Chan-ho, saying, "I think bamboo would be better, senior. It would be good to use what you brought," and Park Chan-ho reluctantly changed the stand to bamboo, causing laughter.

The Byeongman tribe’s first dish, parrot sea snail soup, was completed. They first served the soup to Choo Sung-hoon, whose birthday it was. Choo Sung-hoon was surprised and said, "It’s delicious." The tribe sang a birthday song for him.

Another birthday celebrant, Kim Byeong-man, also exclaimed, "It’s really delicious. The crab is sweet." Lee Bong-won, who was worried about his small appetite, kept eating continuously. Seeing this, Heo Hoon said, "It was refreshing. The taste of nature? There was a small happiness," expressing his joy. Park Se-ri said, "There was really nothing added, but it was truly delicious," which made everyone laugh.

Inspired by Kim Byeong-man’s idea, Park Chan-ho began making a fish trap. He struggled alone for a long time, and Choo Sung-hoon, who was cautious because Park Chan-ho was a senior athlete, eventually suggested another method. The problem was solved using Choo Sung-hoon’s method, and Park Chan-ho said, "Why didn’t you tell me sooner?" which caused laughter.

Then, Choo Sung-hoon quickly completed the fish trap, and Park Chan-ho said, "Choo Sung-hoon has a talent for making people act strangely," adding more laughter. Park Chan-ho did not give up and finally completed the trap, and Kim Byeong-man praised him, saying, "You can understand why someone who has reached the top in any field is like that. They have strong determination and never give up."

Park Se-ri supervised Heo Hoon. Heo Hoon brought wood to use as a fire starter but did not remove the leaves. Park Se-ri was frustrated, and Heo Hoon excused himself, saying, "I only exercise, so this is my first time dealing with wood."

Park Se-ri said, "Isn’t this all new to everyone here?" and added, "Don’t pretend it’s hard. No need for 'pretending'." Park Mi-seon laughed, saying, "It’s different because she’s the director." Heo Hoon tried to leave, saying he would go, but Park Se-ri stopped him, adding more laughter.

Later, the Byeongman tribe succeeded in catching one mullet. Birthday celebrants Kim Byeong-man and Choo Sung-hoon first tasted the jjambbong soup made by Lee Bong-won. Choo Sung-hoon exclaimed, "This is my fifth time on the jungle, and this is the best tasting," and the other tribe members also expressed their admiration. Park Chan-ho said, "The taste is really major," which made everyone laugh.

Meanwhile, Law of the Jungle airs every Saturday at 9 p.m.
