New Z series buyers will receive Galaxy Buds Live as a gift. There is also an unprecedented trade-in program offering up to 1 million KRW when exchanging from Fold to Fold2.
Get 'Galaxy Buds Live' When Purchasing Galaxy Z Fold2 or Flip 5G
Samsung Electronics will provide the new wireless earphones 'Galaxy Buds Live' as a gift to customers who pre-order or purchase early the Galaxy Z Fold2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Those who pre-order either product will also receive a one-year Samsung Care+ subscription, which includes services such as damage/loss protection and repair cost discounts.
Pre-order and early buyers of the Galaxy Z Fold2 can choose one gift from 'Galaxy Buds Live' or the 'Special Case Package' (authentic case, wireless charger trio, and car mount). The Galaxy Buds Live are available in bronze, white, or black colors.
Pre-order and early buyers of the Galaxy Z Flip will receive either Galaxy Buds Live or a Disney collaboration accessory set (wireless charger, case, skin, strap, and tag).
From iPhone 6 to S and Note Series... Get 1 Million KRW Trade-in When Switching from Fold
A used device trade-in program targeting existing flagship smartphone users has also been announced. Compensation will be up to twice the used device purchase price set by each carrier. The trade-in program runs from the 15th until October 31st for customers purchasing the Galaxy Z Fold2 or Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
Eligible smartphones for the trade-in program include ▲Galaxy S series ▲Galaxy Note series ▲Galaxy Note FE ▲Galaxy Fold ▲Galaxy Z Flip ▲iPhone 6, 7, 8, X series, 11, and SE.
There is a special trade-in program offering 1 million KRW compensation for Galaxy Fold users who purchase the Galaxy Z Fold2. Customers who return their Galaxy Fold and purchase the Galaxy Z Fold2 will receive a fixed compensation of 1 million KRW. The program does not differentiate based on the condition of the Fold device; even if the display glass is damaged, compensation will be provided as long as the power and camera function properly.
The special trade-in program is limited to the first 10,000 applicants. Applications can be made on Samsung Electronics' website from the 10th to the 11th. Users who purchased and activated a Galaxy Fold must access Samsung Electronics' website, purchase the unlocked Galaxy Z Fold2 model, and then apply for the special trade-in program.
Customers who complete the application must visit a nearby Samsung Digital Plaza between September 15th and 29th to return their Galaxy Fold. The purchased Galaxy Z Fold2 will be shipped sequentially starting from the 15th. After inspecting the returned device, the compensation amount will be deposited into the applicant's bank account seven days after the return date. However, devices that are ▲reported stolen or lost ▲have power issues ▲have camera malfunctions are not eligible for compensation.
