[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Chungshin Church (Senior Pastor Lee Jeon-ho) located in Yongsan-gu and Korea Petroleum Industry (CEO Kim Byung-jip) each donated 10 million KRW and 10,000 masks to the Yongsan Welfare Foundation (Chairman Lee Sang-yong) on the 2nd.

This was to support overcoming the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Senior Pastor Lee Jeon-ho of Chungshin Church said, “Residents are going through difficult times due to COVID-19,” and added, “The church will do its best to help overcome this crisis.”

The foundation will use the donated funds and supplies for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and youth. In particular, some of these will be delivered to the Ichon 1-dong Community Security Council (Chairman Ko Jae-shin) for redistribution to local residents.

Lee Sang-yong, chairman of the Yongsan Welfare Foundation, said, “We thank Chungshin Church and Korea Petroleum Industry for empathizing with the difficulties of the community,” and added, “The funds and masks will be provided to vulnerable youth and elderly people susceptible to infectious diseases.”
