Conan Technology Accelerates "Chatbot Adoption for Building AI Technology-Based Smart Campus"

AI specialist company Conan Technology (CEO Youngseom Kim) is providing chatbot services for academic administration, general administration, and civil complaint consultations to various universities to support personalized services tailored to the 4th Industrial Revolution era.


As the adoption of AI conversational chatbot services as tools for providing educational and administrative information accelerates, Conan Technology has implemented its chatbot service, EasyBot, at educational institutions such as Semyung University, Kyungil University, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Mokpo National University, and Seoul National University of Science and Technology, with Kyungpook National University also scheduled for implementation.


Conan Technology’s EasyBot is not a low-cost service chatbot with a simple question-and-answer structure but is developed based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology, enabling it to accurately understand users’ question intents and provide optimal answers.


Additionally, it is equipped with an intelligent search solution that allows users to search various documents such as forms, guidelines, and manuals within the chatbot, view the relevant content, and download it. Furthermore, it offers authority management functions by department, enabling efficient Q&A management from the administrator’s perspective, and includes a recommended query feature for frequently asked questions.


This EasyBot provides not only basic academic schedule guidance but also personalized customized information. Main users, such as students, can receive optimized individual information through the chatbot without having to visit the school in person, considering the convenience of students by providing services like mileage inquiry and grade checking.


Kyuhun Kim, Head of Future Strategy Group at Conan Technology, stated, “With the university’s smart campus construction roadmap and in line with the untact and ontact era, non-face-to-face services are being rapidly introduced in the education sector,” adding, “We plan to provide chatbot services optimized for academic administration and general administration fields that students and faculty members need.”
