Jeep 'All New Gladiator' Launched... Price 69.9 Million Won

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Jeep is launching the mid-size pickup 'All-New Jeep Gladiator' in South Korea on the 2nd. The Rubicon trim equipped with a 3.6 gasoline engine will be offered at 69.9 million KRW.


The All-New Jeep Gladiator features a traditional design along with best-in-class towing capacity and 4x4 payload, an advanced powertrain with fuel efficiency, and cutting-edge technology specifications.


The new Gladiator, which began pre-orders on the 17th of last month, sold all 300 units available for delivery this year within two weeks of pre-orders. Accordingly, Jeep is offering benefits worth approximately 1.8 million KRW to 300 customers who will receive their vehicles starting at the end of this month. Customers can choose one of the pre-order benefits: an extended warranty coupon for 5 years or 100,000 km (whichever comes first), or chrome side steps that protect the body and make getting in and out easier.


Additionally, Jeep has appointed global star Rain as the first owner of the All-New Jeep Gladiator and as the official brand ambassador. It is explained that Rain’s adventurous spirit, powerful performance, and image as a multi-entertainer resemble the All-New Jeep Gladiator. As the official brand ambassador, Rain said, “I am a fan of the Jeep brand to the extent that I own the iconic Jeep Wrangler, so I am very pleased to be active as an official brand ambassador. With my passion and challenges in various fields, and the All-New Jeep Gladiator that can ‘go anywhere and do anything,’ we will show many different sides, so I hope you show a lot of interest.”


Jake Auman, President of FCA Korea, stated, “Since its official launch, the All-New Jeep Gladiator has proven its presence with numerous awards, including being selected as the ‘2020 North American Truck of the Year (NACTOY).’ It sold out the initial supply in South Korea within two weeks of pre-orders,” and added, “We hope you experience the new lifestyle presented by the All-New Jeep Gladiator firsthand through the nationwide Jeep Tour.”
