Over 2,000 Applicants for Coding Competition Hosted by Brandy

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Brandi, a startup operating the fashion platform 'Brandi' (CEO Seo Jeong-min), announced on the 2nd that the first round of the online coding competition 'Codename B,' which recently started with a total of about 2,300 applicants, was held on the 29th of last month.

According to a preliminary survey conducted during the application process for this coding competition, which offers a total prize and employment benefits worth 333 million KRW, 84% of the applicants responded that they were 'interested in Brandi recruitment,' and notably, 81% of current developers said they 'intend to apply for Brandi recruitment.'

Accordingly, Brandi has significantly expanded its original plan to hire only 10 people within the top 100 final rankings and decided to hire a total of 50 people. Additional hires will also be provided with benefits equivalent to the total 30 million KRW compensation that Brandi offered as a recruitment promotion for the coding competition. With this, Brandi, which declared the recruitment of 100 developers last May, is expected to achieve its goal by October.

The second round will be held on the 5th, with the top 500 participants from the first round competing. The final winners will be announced on the 9th. Yoon Seok-ho, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) leading Brandi Labs, stated, "Brandi will continue to plan more diverse programs for domestic developers," adding, "Through this, skilled developers in Korea will be able to work in better environments."
