The beauty influencer business group ‘Leferi’ (CEO Inseok Choi) announced on the 1st that it exceeded its sales target within one hour during the Mamonde 30th anniversary Naver Shopping Live broadcast, a collaboration project with Amorepacific’s ‘Mamonde’ and affiliated beauty creator ‘Arang’ on the 30th of last month.


This project was Mamonde’s first live broadcast specially held for the Mamonde 30th anniversary Brand Day, conducted with a retro concept under the slogan “My life is mine, the big discount is yours.” Makeup artist-turned-beauty creator Arang, who has about 150,000 subscribers, and show host ‘Sujeong’ led the broadcast, selling a total of nine sets and single products including Mamonde’s best sellers such as the Red Energy Recovery Serum, Blue Chamomile Soothing Repair Cream, Rose Water Toner, and Hair Pang Pang.

The broadcast, held from 8 PM for one hour, received a high viewership of 15,000 people, over 90,000 ‘likes,’ and comments such as ‘trusted Arang item’ and ‘ready to buy,’ showing a great response. Along with the enthusiastic reaction to the broadcast, sales exploded. The sales target was exceeded within about an hour of the broadcast, achieving the highest sales in a short period.


Beauty creator Arang regularly posts voluntary reviews of Mamonde products on YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms, recommending Mamonde’s key products for their excellent ingredients and product quality. Accordingly, the brand expected a collaboration effect with a creator who has a deep understanding and affection for the products, leading to the decision to conduct Mamonde’s first live broadcast together with Arang.


A Mamonde representative stated, “From the preparation stage of the broadcast, close prior collaboration with Leferi enabled us to secure many viewers as soon as the live opened, making a successful live broadcast possible.” Additionally, a Leferi brand consulting team official cited Leferi’s unique data-based ‘matching system’ and the ‘trust’ between the brand and creator as key success factors of this project, adding, “We will continue to enhance synergy with brands through Leferi’s differentiated marketing solutions.”


Meanwhile, Arang is a female beauty creator with about 150,000 subscribers, formerly a makeup artist, who is gaining popularity day by day by publishing professional beauty content based on her previous experience. Besides YouTube, she communicates with fans through various social channels such as TV beauty programs, Instagram, and open chat rooms, building trust and forming a strong fandom.
