[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Winia Dimchae announced on the 1st that it will provide free inspection services until December 31 for customers using the kimchi refrigerator 'Dimchae' that is over 15 years old.
This free Dimchae inspection service is available to any customer using a lid-type kimchi refrigerator Dimchae manufactured before September 2005.
Customers who wish to receive the free inspection service can apply through the Winia Aid customer service center or the Winia Aid website.
On the date requested by the customer, an employee will visit in person to provide a safer and more hygienic service, including safety inspection, performance check, and dust cleaning of the machine room for the kimchi refrigerator, Winia Dimchae stated. They also plan to guide customers on how to use and maintain the kimchi refrigerator for convenient use.
Winia Dimchae is informing customers who have been using Dimchae refrigerators for over 15 years about the free inspection service via text messages. Additionally, the service is being promoted through the Winia Dimchae and Winia Aid websites as well as Winia Dimchae’s official SNS channels.
A Winia Dimchae official said, "When using home appliances for a long time, the risk increases due to aging parts and fire hazards caused by dust or moisture, so we strongly recommend taking this opportunity to receive the free inspection service."
