[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] NS Home Shopping has stepped up to support flood damage recovery for farms in Anseong City.
On the 28th, NS Home Shopping announced on the 31st that it signed a business agreement at Anseong City Hall with Anseong City and the Foundation for Cooperation between Large, Medium, and Small Enterprises and Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to support the Rural Win-Win Cooperation Fund project.
The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong, Do Sangcheol, CEO of NS Home Shopping, and Park Noseop, Head of the Foundation for Cooperation between Large, Medium, and Small Enterprises and Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
Through this agreement, NS Home Shopping, Anseong City, and the Foundation for Cooperation between Large, Medium, and Small Enterprises and Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries have agreed to unite their intentions for the sustainable development of Anseong’s agriculture and livestock industry and to contribute 100 million KRW to the Win-Win Cooperation Fund.
Recently, Anseong City, which suffered severe flood damage due to prolonged monsoon rains and record-breaking heavy rainfall, plans to use the Win-Win Cooperation Fund to carry out a laundry vehicle support project for flood-affected farms, livestock farms, and flood victims. After the flood support ends, the project will be converted to support laundry services for elderly living alone and care projects in farms.
NS Home Shopping plans to consult with Anseong City to promote and support sales channels for excellent products from local small and medium enterprises as well as agricultural specialties, taking this agreement as an opportunity.

Meanwhile, on the 10th, NS Home Shopping donated 100 million KRW to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association for flood recovery and support for flood victims, and also announced plans to prepare additional support measures for farms in the affected areas.
