Emart24 Launches First Convenience Store to Offer Genuine Apple Accessories

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Emart24 is launching stores that operate Apple genuine accessories.

Emart24 announced that starting from the 31st, it will begin selling Apple genuine accessories at the ‘Emart24 Seongsu Naknak Branch’ and plans to expand to 20 stores by September.

At the Apple-exclusive sales counter, monitors will display introductions of the genuine accessory products on sale and event videos. A total of 12 types of Apple genuine accessories will be sold, including AirPods Pro, AirPods, Apple Pencil, EarPods, adapters, and cables.

Emart24 plans to sell 12 products at 20 stores and then continuously increase the number of operating stores and product types based on sales data.

Emart24 introduced this Apple genuine accessory operating store as part of a new attempt to discover innovative products that could not be found in existing convenience stores. Emart24 expects that this collaboration with Apple, an icon of innovation, will play a significant role in strengthening its differentiated image from competing convenience stores.

Starting with this successful collaboration with Apple, Emart24’s strategy is to continuously introduce various products at a specialty store level that have not been seen in convenience stores before.

An event commemorating the sale of Apple products will also be held. Until the 30th of next month, customers who pay for Apple products at Emart24 Seongsu Naknak Branch using Hyundai Card can enjoy a 20% discount benefit (up to 40,000 KRW).

KT Membership overlapping discounts are also available. For example, applying the KT Membership discount to AirPods Pro (329,000 KRW) reduces the price to 309,000 KRW, and when paying with Hyundai Card, customers can purchase AirPods Pro at a 20% discounted price of 269,000 KRW (up to 40,000 KRW discount).

Additionally, until the 3rd of next month, customers who pre-order AirPods Pro through the Emart24 mobile app will be entered into a draw where 3 winners can purchase AirPods Pro for 10,000 KRW, discounted by 319,000 KRW from the regular price, in the ‘10,000 KRW Luck’ event. Until the 30th of next month, all customers who purchase Apple products and scan the integrated barcode on the Emart24 mobile app will receive a 100% winning lottery ticket as a gift.
