Jung Eun-kyung: "Minnochoong Agrees to Submit Rally Participant List"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) has agreed to submit the full list of participants who attended the August 15 Liberation Day rally. Jung Eun-kyung, head of the Central Disease Control Headquarters, stated at the regular briefing on the 26th, "We officially requested the KCTU to submit the list of attendees at the rally, and since they have agreed to provide it, we plan to guide and manage testing for those who have not yet been tested."

Director Jung continued, "One confirmed case related to the press conference or rally held by the KCTU has been identified, and an epidemiological investigation is currently underway," adding, "We are considering the possibility of exposure at the downtown Seoul rally on August 15, as well as potential exposure at workplaces prior to that." He also said, "We are identifying the list of people who may have been exposed around the confirmed case," and "We have requested communication data from telecom companies regarding those nearby."
