Donation of 6 Million Won Worth of 3D Care Masks to Dongdaemun-gu Through Hwikyung 2-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) announced that Daekyung Chemical has donated 1,200 masks of love to help overcome COVID-19.

On the 19th at 3 PM, a mask donation ceremony was held at the Dongdaemun-gu Office Mayor's Office, attended by You Deok-yeol, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, Lee Kang-soo, CEO of Daekyung Chemical, Lee Yong-sik, Chairman of the Huigyeong 2-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee, and the Huigyeong 2-dong Chief.

On that day, Daekyung Chemical, a synthetic resin and rubber manufacturer located in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, donated 1,200 3D Care Masks (worth 6 million KRW) to Dongdaemun-gu through Lee Yong-sik, with whom they have maintained close relations, to prevent the resurgence of COVID-19.

You Deok-yeol, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, said, “We are grateful to Daekyung Chemical for showing warm kindness to Dongdaemun-gu despite the difficult situation where economic activities and economic sentiment have been greatly depressed due to COVID-19,” and added, “We will ensure that the donated masks of love are properly delivered to residents in need.”
