[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] AI and big data specialist company Vibe Company announced on the 19th that it has submitted a securities registration statement to the Financial Services Commission and officially started the public offering process for listing on KOSDAQ.

Vibe plans to offer 650,000 shares in this IPO. The expected offering price is between 23,000 and 28,000 KRW per share, with a total offering amount ranging from 14.9 billion to 18.2 billion KRW. Founded in 2000, Vibe is a specialized company based on AI and big data. The company has secured the largest scale of big data and AI-based core technologies in Korea, including over 27.8 billion unstructured data records. It holds a unique position in the industry, having received the highest grade of ‘AA’ in the technology evaluation for a technology-specialized IPO.

Vibe has built ‘SOFIA (Sopia)’, Korea’s only AI and big data platform, and developed various products and customized services such as ▲Sometrend (big data analysis) ▲AI Solver (problem-solving solution) ▲AI Report (AI report) ▲AI Agent (non-face-to-face specialized consultation service). Recently, Vibe has been progressing projects such as ▲LH Digital Twin Phase 1 Construction Project and ▲Gwangyang City Smart Town Challenge MP Establishment Project. By advancing its platform services, Vibe plans to lead the smart city business domestically and collaborate with overseas companies to grow into a global digital twin company.

Song Seonghwan, CEO of Vibe, stated, “Vibe has developed into a unique company in the industry by focusing solely on AI and big data for over 20 years,” and added, “Through this IPO, we will leap forward as a global leading AI and big data specialist company that leads the future AI era.”

Meanwhile, Vibe recently changed its name from ‘Daumsoft’ to ‘Vibe (VAIV)’ and declared its leap as an innovative service company that solves various problems based on AI technology and enables better choices as a representative AI company.
