[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kia Motors is taking the lead in spreading a culture of children's traffic safety in collaboration with the Road Traffic Authority and the Korea Volunteer Culture Association.
As part of the 'Greenlight Kids' campaign, Kia announced on the 19th that it will provide 10,000 'Greenlight Traffic Safety Kits,' traffic safety play items, to lower-grade elementary school students nationwide and Kia customers.
The 'Greenlight Traffic Safety Kit' being provided this time consists of various components that children and parents can use together, including ▲a traffic safety workbook with various problem-solving and play activities related to children's traffic safety culture ▲OX cards composed of questions and answers about traffic safety culture ▲a picnic mat for children.
The 'Greenlight Traffic Safety Kit' can be received by individually applying through the Greenlight Kids website from the 1st of next month until supplies last, after watching the safety education video.
Also, to commemorate the launch of the 4th generation Carnival, 2,000 people will be selected by lottery through the 'Greenlight Kids Campaign with Carnival' event held on the Kia website to receive the 'Greenlight Traffic Safety Kit.'
Furthermore, as part of the 'Korea Child Happiness Project - Play Sympathy Kit' campaign, Kia plans to provide the 'Greenlight Traffic Safety Kit' to children in the Gangwon and Jeonnam regions.
A Kia Motors official said, “We hope the Greenlight Kids campaign will contribute to preventing traffic accidents involving children, including lower-grade elementary school students,” and added, “Kia Motors will continue to strive to be a brand that contributes to spreading a culture of traffic safety through various social contribution projects.”
