Korea Aerospace Industries Signs 47.1 Billion KRW Helicopter Supply Contract with National Police Agency

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Korea Aerospace Industries announced on the 18th that it has signed a supply contract worth 47.1 billion KRW for KUH-1P (Surion) helicopters with the National Police Agency. This amount corresponds to approximately 1.5% of recent sales revenue.

The main contract terms involve delivering 2 KUH-1P (Surion) aircraft to the National Police Agency. This contract follows previous supply agreements of 2 units in 2011, 1 unit in 2013, 1 unit in 2015, 1 unit in 2016, and 3 units in 2017. Through this project, the National Police Agency will possess a total of 10 domestically produced Chamsuri police helicopters.
