[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Small and Medium Business Distribution Center announced on the 18th that it has decided to prepay product payments to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) affected by the heavy rain damage.

This prepayment of product payments was prepared to support the resolution of financial difficulties faced by SMEs struggling due to flood damage. The Distribution Center has significantly shortened the required period so that payment for sales can be made immediately on the same day after sales are confirmed for product supplying companies.

Jung Jinsu, CEO of the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center, said, "Many SMEs are facing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation and now flood damage," adding, "The Distribution Center will do its best to ensure that flood-affected SMEs can recover and normalize as soon as possible through proactive measures."
