[Public Notice+] AFFECT, Q2 Sales of 12.6 Billion KRW... 8% Increase YoY

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] A-FACT, a semiconductor back-end process specialist company, continued its performance growth in the second quarter following the first quarter.

A-FACT announced on the 18th through a public disclosure that its sales in the second quarter of this year reached 12.6 billion KRW, an 8% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit for the same period rose by 6% to 1.8 billion KRW, and net profit remained at a similar level to last year at 1.5 billion KRW. On a cumulative basis for the first half of the year, sales amounted to 25.4 billion KRW, a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit and net profit recorded 3.7 billion KRW and 2.8 billion KRW, respectively.

According to the company, since May of last year, investments in test equipment have been made, improving overall production capacity, which resulted in increased sales effects continuing into the second quarter following the first quarter. Sales to major client SK Hynix have also steadily increased.

An A-FACT representative stated, “Thanks to the investment in test equipment, we succeeded in increasing performance in the second quarter following the first quarter. While maintaining the stability of existing businesses, we plan to further grow by exploring ways to expand our business through entry into related fields.”
