[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] On the afternoon of the 16th, the SBS show 'Running Man' featured actors Kwak Do-won, Kim Sang-ho, and Kim Dae-myung, who starred in the movie 'The Golden Holiday.'
That day, 'Running Man' welcomed movie actors Kwak Do-won, Kim Sang-ho, and Kim Dae-myung as guests to participate in the 'International Investigation Race.' When the production team explained the rules, Kim Sang-ho expressed confusion, saying "I'm confused," while Kwak Do-won took out a notebook and wrote down notes, causing laughter.
Also, when Ji Suk-jin was having difficulty speaking formally to Kwak Do-won, Yoo Jae-suk said, "Why are you making Do-won so difficult? He's your 7-year-old younger brother." In response, Ji Suk-jin tried to ease the tension and spoke informally to Kwak Do-won.
The first game revealed a survey, and the team with the higher ranking won. Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-suk was shocked to be voted the worst boss people least want to meet. And Jeon So-min was surprisingly ranked first as the member most likely to succeed if they entered Hollywood.
In this game, Kwak Do-won won all five rounds and earned a chance to get hints from the production team. This race was a game where two criminals had to be caught by the police and citizens, and Kwak Do-won communicated with the production team quietly so the other members wouldn't hear.
Next was the "Body Language Cinema Hell" game. The production team presented sentences, and the members had to guess the movie titles by conveying them only through actions without speaking. Five questions were given, and all members played as one team.
The first question was 'Along with the Gods.' The first team consisted of Kim Jong-kook, Kim Sang-ho, Haha, Kwak Do-won, and So-min. Although Kwak Do-won switched the actions for dying and ascending to heaven midway, Jeon So-min understood well and answered correctly.
The second question was 'The Face Reader.' The team was Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Sang-ho, Kwak Do-won, Ji Suk-jin, and Kim Dae-myung, but Lee Kwang-soo failed to perform the actions properly from the start. Eventually, Kim Dae-myung said 'Face/Off,' and they failed to guess the correct answer.
Following that, 'Sunny' and 'Ode to My Father' were the next questions, with Kwak Do-won leading the actions first. However, the sentences were too difficult, and Kwak Do-won complained, saying "This is too tough." Among these, only Jeon So-min correctly guessed 'Ode to My Father.'
The final question was 'The Thieves,' with Kim Jong-kook, Kim Sang-ho, Kim Dae-myung, Haha, and Jeon So-min on the team. In this round, Kim Sang-ho and Kim Dae-myung performed detailed acting, allowing Jeon So-min to easily guess the correct answer. At this time, the production team revealed that Song Ji-hyo was not a criminal.
The final race was a game where criminals could be caught through two interrogation sessions held every 30 minutes. The identities of the final vote-getters could also be confirmed. The production team explained that if the four name tags hidden throughout the building were collected and submitted, they would reveal the ratio of criminals, citizens, and police among them.
During this, it was revealed that Kim Dae-myung was one of the police officers. Kim Dae-myung was given the mission to catch two criminals attempting to smuggle flavored salt. Haha found his own name tag, and Kwak Do-won found Kim Sang-ho's name tag. Then Lee Kwang-soo and Ji Suk-jin also found name tags and brought them to the detective agency. Here, the criminals and police ended in a tie.
After the first race ended, in the interrogation room, after heated debate, the members pointed to Lee Kwang-soo. During this process, Kim Dae-myung, who kept a serious face despite the funny moment, drew much suspicion. Lee Kwang-soo, who received the most votes, was revealed to be a police officer. Lee Kwang-soo was the senior police officer, and Kim Dae-myung was the rookie police officer.
To Kim Dae-myung, who had not yet revealed his identity, Lee Kwang-soo said, "If I succeed, you succeed too."
In a hurry, Kim Dae-myung allied with Song Ji-hyo, who was definitely a citizen. Then, on the second visit to the detective agency, it was revealed on the broadcast that the criminals and police were tied. However, Kim Dae-myung lied, saying he had not gone to the detective agency, and the members did not believe him.
At that moment, Kim Dae-myung quickly tore off Haha's name tag. Lee Kwang-soo, suspecting Haha was a criminal, had told him to "tear off Haha's name tag." But Haha was a citizen. While Kim Dae-myung was shocked by this fact, Ji Suk-jin swiftly tore off Kim Dae-myung's name tag and said in surprise, "Oh, you were a police officer?"
In fact, Ji Suk-jin was the criminal. Previously, after losing as the boss of the Janbari faction, Ji Suk-jin immediately got a chance for revenge, with Yoo Jae-suk as his right-hand man. When Ji Suk-jin tore off Kim Dae-myung's name tag, Ji Suk-jin and Yoo Jae-suk won, causing the citizen and police teams to lose.
Citizen Kwak Do-won, who was to receive the penalty, was asked to choose a partner to share the penalty with and called out "Dae-myung." Kim Dae-myung, resigned, replied, "Yes. I will accept it willingly." The penalty was brushing teeth with sea salt, but Ji Suk-jin said, "Give a salty reaction," which earned a scolding from Yoo Jae-suk.
The SBS variety show 'Running Man' airs every Sunday at 5 PM.
