On the 16th, Samsung Electronics announced that approximately 258,000 units were activated on the first day of activation for Galaxy Note20 pre-order customers. In terms of first-day activation performance alone, this is about 10% higher than the Galaxy Note10.

This achievement surpasses the previous record for the highest number of pre-order activations held by the Galaxy S8 (250,000 units) by 8,000 units.

Samsung Electronics stated, "The overall pre-order activation performance is about 90% of that of the previous Galaxy Note10." The Galaxy Note10 had an 11-day pre-order period, which was 5 days longer than that of the Galaxy Note20, and achieved sales of 1.3 million units during the pre-order period. Compared to the Galaxy Note9, the pre-order sales volume is 1.6 times higher.

Samsung Electronics unveiled the 'Galaxy Note20' and others at the Galaxy Unpacked event on the 5th, accepted pre-orders from the 7th to the 13th, and began pre-activation on the 14th. The official release date is the 21st.
