Jinan County Office Player Yudongju Wins 3 Medals at This Year's First National Tournament

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Go Dallyoung] Yudongju, an athlete of the Jinan County Office Weightlifting Team (Coach Choi Byungchan), achieved a remarkable feat by winning three crowns at the '2020 National Business Weightlifting Championships' held in Yanggu, Gangwon Province from August 11 to 14.

Yudongju competed in the 96kg category at this competition, lifting 161kg in the snatch, 205kg in the clean and jerk, for a total of 366kg. He placed 2nd in the snatch, 3rd in the clean and jerk, and 3rd overall, earning one silver medal and two bronze medals.

Notably, this competition was especially meaningful as he competed in the 96kg category, one class above his usual 89kg class, in preparation for the 'National Weightlifting Championships' to be held next month in Goseong.

Yudongju said, "The athletes were able to train comfortably and participate in the competition to achieve good results.
