The Korea Sustainable Innovation Leader Awards are given to companies, organizations, and leaders who have contributed to social development by practicing continuous innovation beyond existing stereotypes across all fields of our society, including economy, public sector, education, sports, culture, arts, and environment.
Chairman Kim In-ho, a three-term Seoul city council member, has led the realization of policies that change the daily lives of local residents through active regional legislative activities. Furthermore, he was recognized for his dedication to the development of local councils and local autonomy as the Chairman of the 10th Seoul Metropolitan Council's second half, receiving the Grand Prize in the legislative category on this day.
In his acceptance speech, Chairman Kim said, "I believe this award was given as encouragement to further strive for citizen safety and happiness, and to take the lead in the development of local councils and the realization of decentralized autonomy." He added, "Despite various difficult situations, the Seoul Metropolitan Council will do its best to ensure that Seoul city administration operates without any gaps, focusing on stabilizing people's livelihoods and recovering the local economy."
