No particular symptoms have appeared so far.
Mr. B, who lives in a house in Nongsong-dong, Seo-gu, was classified as case number 222.
Since a positive result was obtained at a private entrusted institution, Gwangju City initially classified him as a confirmed case and is conducting a secondary test at the Gwangju City Health and Environment Research Institute. He was confirmed as a contact of case number 219.
Cases 217 and 219 are "unknown infection route" cases whose initial infection routes have not been clearly identified, and health authorities are focusing on tracing the infection routes.
Meanwhile, since the start of the second wave of COVID-19 in the Gwangju area on the 27th of last month, a total of 189 cases have been reported.
