[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Heung-a Shipping announced on the 14th that it received a 'disclaimer of opinion' on its semi-annual review due to reasons such as 'uncertainty about the going concern assumption.'
The company stated, "In May, through an objection to delisting, we were granted an improvement period by the Listing Disclosure Committee, and as of the submission date of this semi-annual report, we are still carrying out corporate improvement efforts for business normalization."
It added, "Currently, we are undergoing a joint management process (workout) with the financial creditors' council and are in the process of attracting investment from external investors," and explained, "We plan to actively reflect the auditor's pointed issues to resolve them promptly and obtain an unqualified opinion as soon as possible."
