'Mr. Sunshine' Park Bomi Marries Soccer Player Park Yohan: "Just Your Existence Is a Support"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Comedian and actress Park Bomi announced her marriage.

On the 14th, Park Bomi posted a video and a message on her Instagram saying, "Everyone, I am getting married." Park Bomi's fianc? is Park Yohan, a soccer player for K League 2 team FC Anyang.

Park Bomi said, "This person is sincere, bright, and kinder to me than anyone else, enough for me to decide to spend the rest of my life with him. Above all, just his presence by my side gives me strength."

She continued, "I haven't been able to contact everyone individually yet, but I will greet you all step by step from now on. I sincerely thank those who heard the news in advance and congratulated me, and those who helped with the wedding photoshoot. I will show you many sweet and lovely moments preparing for the wedding until the ceremony."

She added, "In these difficult times, I was hesitant to post such a message, but I wanted to share the wedding news with those who care about me."

Wedding consulting company Happy Married Company also announced on the same day, "Park Bomi and Park Yohan will hold their wedding ceremony on December 6th at Eliena Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul," and released the couple's wedding photos.

According to Happy Married Company, they decided to marry after dating for about a year. Park Bomi described Park Yohan as "someone who communicates well, shares the same sense of humor, and helps me grow in a positive direction." She explained, "Being with him gave me the confidence that I could overcome difficult times, which led me to decide to marry him."

Regarding her activities after marriage, Park Bomi said, "I want to be busy in various fields," and added, "My husband (Park Yohan) is a very talented person. If we get offers for couple variety shows, I am willing to appear with him."

Park Bomi debuted as a comedian through KBS's 29th public recruitment and appeared in 'SNL Korea' Season 4, 'Gag Concert,' and dramas such as 'Strong Woman Do Bong-soon,' 'Mr. Sunshine,' and 'Joseon Marriage Agency Flower Crew.'

Park Yohan joined the newly established Gwangju FC through the 2011 K League draft and played for Chungju Hummel and the Police Mugunghwa Sports Team from 2013. After joining Suwon FC last year, Park Yohan was loaned to FC Anyang this summer.
