(CEO Kwangje Woo) announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement with Korea University’s Human-inspired AI & Computing Research Center (Director Heeseok Lim) to foster and support the growth of promising technology startups both inside and outside the university, as well as to expand the ecosystem for global advancement.
This business agreement was established to promote technology startups and technology transfer commercialization using the center’s artificial intelligence technology. It aims to facilitate online and offline exchanges among domestic and international industry-academic-research experts, provide mentoring to enhance the business capabilities of promising startups, operate online and offline showcases to attract seed money from investors in India, Vietnam, and other countries, and match demand-based global business partners to spread the achievements of startups inside and outside the university.
CBA Ventures Co., Ltd. expects to secure cases of global expansion by building strategic partnerships with the university to provide close growth support to the center’s family companies, and by cooperating with the technology holding company and the industry-academic cooperation foundation to support promising startups nurtured by Korea University both inside and outside the university.
To this end, the two organizations plan to prioritize cooperation in various fields, including full-cycle support covering startup, technology commercialization investment, and incubation, operation of overseas business partner matching programs, and attracting investment for domestic startups using investors from India.
Based on CBA Ventures Co., Ltd.’s experience in supporting startups across the full spectrum of global business expansion, investment capabilities, and incubation, it plans to establish itself as a differentiated accelerator by successfully planning demand-driven projects through close collaboration with local partners and expanding the university’s artificial intelligence technology into global commercialization through small-scale successful cases.
