T'way Air Reports Operating Loss of 48.5 Billion KRW in Q2... Deficit Widens

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] T'way Air announced on the 14th that its operating loss for the second quarter of this year, based on separate financial statements, widened to 48.5 billion KRW compared to -26.5 billion KRW in the same period last year.

Second quarter sales amounted to 24.7 billion KRW, a decrease of 86.4% compared to 182 billion KRW in the same period last year.

Operating loss for the first half of this year reached 70.4 billion KRW, turning to a deficit. Sales decreased by 58.9% to 173.9 billion KRW. Net loss for the period was 85.1 billion KRW.
